About Korinderie Ridge Community

Korinderie Ridge Community was established in 1976 on the north coast of New South Wales, Australia, near the town of Woodburn.

We are a registered NSW Co‑operative and the community has been established on a shared property with a multiple-occupancy title, adjacent to Bundjalung National Park.

NSW Co-operative No. C00811

ABN 72 936 357 530

There are some important values that have developed over time, including –

  • respect for nature and each other
  • maintaining a positive and inclusive approach to the functioning and development of the community
  • sharing resources
  • sharing the workload
  • reducing our impact on the broader environment
  • caring for the ecology of the Ridge

Members cooperate in the construction and maintenance of our internal roads, water supply, wildfire preparation, environmental protection and community facilities. We regularly share organic gardening activities, weekly meals, workdays, creative and musical activities. We also value maintaining a balance between privacy and cooperation.
